| Review | Bottle. Poured a ruby read with a medium but attractive tan head and good lacing. Nose is fantastic, with fruits, citrus, and chocolate, and just a little coffee. Very smooth mouthfeel and a flavor of chocolate, coffee, and toast. But not burnt toast. A remarkable brew. Slightly dry finish with a nice touch of hops. One of the best dopplebocks ever for me. Score of 8.6 for four and a half stars. |
