|Brewed with a generous mix of chocolate malt and roast barley, our Porter matches subtle coffee aromas to a solid malt finish. Lighter in body than its stouter cousins, Porter earned a prominent place in our portfolio of beers with its balance of roasted flavors. First brewed in 1987, Porter remains a favorite among both our brewers and Bell's drinkers alike. ABV 5.6%|

My first. Purchased in Florida, not available in Louisiana at this time.
Glassware: Guinness Pint
From a 12 oz. bottle, this one pours a dark brown ruby color and left a decent tan head that dissipated fast as with most porters that I've consumed. Smell is packed with lost of roasted malts with hints of coffee and licorice. It has a medium body and the flavor is dominated by rich roasted malts, coffee and chocolate It finishes slightly bitter. Overall, this porter offers a lot of robust flavors but is smooth and easy to drink. A good alternative to any stout. I'm giving this one 4 stars, Most Excellent.
